TI 2026 is over. Team Spirit beat TEAM VISION 3-2 in Shanghai on 23 August. Their share was US$1,660,200 of a US$3,906,263 prize pool, the richest of this year’s Dota 2 tournaments. Team Yandex have won both big events of the 2026-27 season so far. Next up are PARI Universe (22 October to 1 November), BLAST Slam IX (20 to 29 November) and DreamLeague Season 30 (2 to 13 December).
Below is the confirmed calendar of Dota 2 tournaments to May 2027 and a short history of The International. Then comes how to bet on Dota 2 at GGLBET, worked through with the odds on screen on 12 October 2026.
In short: Team Spirit won TI 2026 and became the first organisation to lift the Aegis three times (2021, 2023, 2026). Valve has not announced TI 2027. Every big event left in 2026 is online. The 2027 calendar opens with DreamLeague Season 31 in January and a US$1 million PGL LAN in Bucharest in March. On 12 October 2026 GGLBET had five Dota 2 matches open, with bookmaker margins of 7.9% to 8.2%.
Which Dota 2 tournaments matter most?
Top-level Dota 2 tournaments come from a short list of organisers. Valve runs one event a year, The International. ESL runs DreamLeague and ESL One, BLAST runs the Slam series, PGL runs Wallachia in Bucharest, and FISSURE runs the Universe events. Below them sit smaller online leagues such as EPL Masters, which fill the weeks between the big ones.
For betting, the tier changes what you get. On 12 October 2026 GGLBET’s Dota 2 lobby listed 16 competitions, but only two had fixtures open. Three of the four EPL Masters III matches carried 39 to 42 markets each. Nemiga v 111 in the DreamLeague Eastern Europe Qualifier carried four. Thin markets usually come with thin information, so lower-tier games ask more of your own research.
What is The International Dota 2 world championship?
The International Dota 2 world championship is Valve’s own tournament, played every year since 2011 except 2020. That year’s edition was pushed back to 2021 by the COVID-19 pandemic. Valve puts up a base prize pool of US$1.6 million, the same figure as the first event in Cologne.
Fans add the rest. Compendium and Battle Pass sales lifted the pool to a record US$40,018,195 in 2021. The Battle Pass ended after 2022, and the pool has stayed under US$4 million every year since 2023. For TI 2026 there was no Battle Pass or Compendium at all: 30% of supporter bundle sales went into the pot instead.
Singapore’s TI and the recent finals
Singapore has hosted it once. TI 2022 put the playoffs at Suntec Singapore Convention Centre and the finals at Singapore Indoor Stadium. Tundra Esports swept Team Secret 3-0 with US$18,930,775 on the table. Recent finals have been either one-sided or gone the full five games, with nothing in between.
| Year | Host city | Champion | Runner-up | Final |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | Shanghai | Team Spirit | TEAM VISION | 3-2 |
| 2025 | Hamburg | Team Falcons | Xtreme Gaming | 3-2 |
| 2024 | Copenhagen | Team Liquid | Gaimin Gladiators | 3-0 |
| 2023 | Seattle | Team Spirit | Gaimin Gladiators | 3-0 |
| 2022 | Singapore | Tundra Esports | Team Secret | 3-0 |
| 2021 | Bucharest | Team Spirit | PSG.LGD | 3-2 |
TI’s money also dwarfs the rest of the calendar. Spirit’s first prize in Shanghai was more than five times the US$300,000 Yandex won at PGL Wallachia Season 9 a month later.
The International 2026: Spirit’s third Aegis
The International 2026 ran from 13 to 23 August in Shanghai, the city’s second TI after 2019. Sixteen teams took part. Seven came on Valve invites. The other nine won regional qualifiers: four from Europe, two from China and one each from Southeast Asia, South America and North America.
The group stage (13 to 16 August) was a five-round Swiss system, every series best-of-three. Four wins sent a team through and four losses sent it home. The top three went straight to the playoffs, and an elimination round filled five more places. The last eight played a double-elimination bracket at the SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center from 20 to 23 August. According to Valve’s main event notice, matches started at 10am Shanghai time, which is also 10am in Singapore. Only the grand final was best-of-five.
Where the US$3.9 million went
The pool finished at US$3,906,263: Valve’s US$1.6 million base plus US$2,306,263 from supporter bundles. The top four were paid as follows.
- Team Spirit, champions: US$1,660,200, or 42.5% of the pool.
- TEAM VISION, runners-up: US$507,800 (13%).
- Team Yandex, third: US$351,600 (9%).
- BoomBoys, fourth: US$234,400 (6%).
How Spirit won from the lower bracket
TEAM VISION, the former PARIVISION roster, won all four of its Swiss series. It beat Spirit twice before the final: 2-0 in the group stage and 2-1 in the upper-bracket semi-final. Spirit then won three lower-bracket series 2-0 in a row, against Team Liquid, BoomBoys and Team Yandex. They took the final 3-2 and became the first organisation to win TI three times. Every bracket and map score is on Liquipedia’s TI 2026 page.
Two things from Shanghai carry over to betting. A head-to-head inside one event is a tiny sample. VISION led Spirit by four maps to one before the final, and the final still went five games. The event was also played on patch 7.41e, which went live on 30 July, two weeks before the group stage. A fresh patch is a reason to trust older results less.
Which Dota 2 tournaments are left in 2026?
Two big Dota 2 tournaments of the new season are already done. At PGL Wallachia Season 9 in Bucharest (19 to 27 September), Team Yandex swept Natus Vincere 3-0 for US$300,000 of a US$1 million pool. At BLAST Slam VIII in Malta (29 September to 11 October), Yandex beat Team Spirit 3-1 in the final. Everything still to come this year is online.
| Tournament | Dates (2026) | Organiser | Format | Teams | Prize pool |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EPL Masters III | 12 to 29 Oct | EPL | Online | 20 | US$100,000 |
| PARI Universe | 22 Oct to 1 Nov | FISSURE | Online | 10 | US$250,000 |
| BLAST Slam IX | 20 to 29 Nov | BLAST | Online | 16 | US$750,000 |
| DreamLeague Season 30 | 2 to 13 Dec | ESL | Online | 24 | US$750,000 |
EPL Masters III is the event behind most of the Dota 2 matches GGLBET listed on 12 October, the first day of its play-in stage. PARI Universe splits ten teams into two round-robin groups of five, all best-of-three, before a playoff bracket from 28 October. BLAST moved Slam IX online to cut travel for teams in a crowded month.
DreamLeague Season 30 opens ESL’s 2026-27 Pro Tour with a 24-team Swiss stage. Each series win there pays US$2,500, the top eight reach the playoffs, and the champion takes US$140,000. The grand final is best-of-five.
Online Dota 2 tournaments in Europe are played on European servers, so the games land in Singapore evenings and late nights. The EPL Masters III fixtures GGLBET had open on 12 October were set for 18:00, 21:00, 00:00 and 03:00 SGT.
What is on the Dota 2 calendar for early 2027?
The first Dota 2 tournaments of 2027 are already dated. ESL’s four Pro Tour events run from December to May.
- DreamLeague Season 31 runs from 20 to 31 January with 16 teams and US$500,000.
- PGL Wallachia Season 10 is a US$1,000,000 LAN in Bucharest from 2 to 14 March.
- ESL One Europe is a 16-team LAN from 4 to 11 April worth US$1,000,000. ESL has not named the city yet.
- DreamLeague Season 32 runs from 26 April to 9 May for US$750,000.
TI 2027 is the gap. Valve had not announced dates or a host city when we checked on 12 October 2026. Esports media have reported talk of Singapore since August, but Valve has confirmed nothing and we cannot confirm it either. Until a notice appears on dota2.com, treat any TI 2027 date as a rumour.
How do Dota 2 betting markets pay out?
Every price below is a GGLBET match-winner price from 12 October 2026. None of the five matches had a draw option. Implied probability is 1 divided by the odds. The amount by which the two sides add up past 100% is the bookmaker’s margin.
| Match (SGT) | Competition | Odds | Implied chance | Margin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CyberHero v PuckChamp, 12 Oct 18:00 | EPL Masters III | 1.025 / 9.50 | 97.6% / 10.5% | 8.1% |
| Nemiga v 111, 12 Oct 21:00 | DreamLeague EE Qualifier | 2.55 / 1.45 | 39.2% / 69.0% | 8.2% |
| Team Lynx v CyberHero, 12 Oct 21:00 | EPL Masters III | 2.10 / 1.65 | 47.6% / 60.6% | 8.2% |
| MENA Warriors v Team Lynx, 13 Oct 00:00 | EPL Masters III | 5.85 / 1.10 | 17.1% / 90.9% | 8.0% |
| Dawn Bulls v The Warriors, 13 Oct 03:00 | EPL Masters III | 1.045 / 8.20 | 95.7% / 12.2% | 7.9% |
So the margin on these five Dota 2 matches sat between 7.9% and 8.2%. You pay it on every bet, win or lose. The markets below all work from the same idea.
Match winner
The match-winner market pays if your team wins the series. S$10 on CyberHero at 1.65 against Team Lynx returns S$16.50, which is S$6.50 profit. Strip out the margin and CyberHero’s fair chance is about 56.0%, a fair price of roughly 1.79. The gap between 1.79 and 1.65 is what the bet costs you.
Map handicap and total maps
A map handicap shifts the series score. In a best-of-three, CyberHero -1.5 maps wins only on a 2-0, and PuckChamp +1.5 wins if they take any map at all. Total maps asks whether a best-of-three goes to a third game (over 2.5) or ends 2-0 either way (under 2.5). The logic matches football’s Asian handicap, with maps instead of goals.
We recorded match prices only, so the figures below are our own maths. Take a best-of-three favourite priced like CyberHero at 1.025. Remove the margin and the market gives them a 90.3% chance of winning the series. If maps were independent, that works out to about 80.7% per map. A 2-0 then has a 65.1% chance, a fair price near 1.54 for -1.5 maps. Over 2.5 maps comes out at 31.2%, fair odds near 3.21.
Maps are not independent in real games, so treat these figures as a sense check, not a price. GGLBET voids handicap and total-map bets if the number of maps differs from the one offered.
First blood, kills and Roshan
These props settle inside a single map. Under GGLBET’s Dota 2 rules, only kills by the opposing team count for first blood, so a deny does not settle it. Kill totals and kill handicaps settle on the official scoreboard, broadcast or game API. Roshan markets go to the team that kills Roshan, not the hero who picks up the Aegis. One fight can decide any of them, so stakes belong on the small side.
Game duration
Duration markets are over/under bets on how long one map lasts. GGLBET settles them on the in-game clock and leaves out the time before the creeps spawn. If a fixture starts but does not finish, bets are void unless the result was already decided.
Outrights
An outright is a bet on the tournament winner. Your stake sits in the market for the whole event, which is twelve days for DreamLeague Season 30. GGLBET’s lobby showed a BLAST Slam outright section on 12 October, but no Dota 2 outright prices were open that day.
How to bet on Dota 2 at GGLBET
Here is how to bet on Dota 2 at GGLBET from Singapore, from sign-up to withdrawal.
- Open an account on the registration page. If you want a welcome offer, claim it in Profile, then Promotional Bonuses, before your first deposit.
- Deposit in SGD by PayNow, local bank transfer (DBS/POSB, OCBC, UOB and others) or USDT. The minimum is S$20, and cards are not offered for SGD.
- Go to Esports, then Dota 2, and check the competition name and the start time in SGT.
- Check the series length. A best-of-two can end 1-1, so see whether a draw is priced before you pick a side.
- Pick a market and read how it settles, using the rules above.
- Enter your stake, check the return on the bet slip and confirm.
- Track the bet under open bets. Cash Out is offered on selected events, but cashed-out bets do not count towards the esports free bet.
- Withdraw from S$50 with no fee. Approved withdrawals usually land in 5 to 120 minutes.
There is no app to download: the site runs in Safari or Chrome on your phone. The Dota 2 betting page shows the matches GGLBET has open right now. Read the Dota 2 betting tips below before your first stake.
Dota 2 betting tips that hold up after a patch
These Dota 2 betting tips deal with what you control: your homework, your timing and your stake. Each one draws on something from this season, from patch 7.41f to the roster moves after TI 2026. Nobody can promise winners, and no staking system beats the margin over time.
Read the patch notes before the odds
Patch 7.41 shipped on 24 March 2026, and 7.41f, the latest, arrived on 15 September. As of 12 October Valve had not released 7.42. A new numbered patch changes which heroes and strategies work, and results from before it say less about what comes after. In the first week of a new patch, smaller stakes make sense.
Check rosters, and do not trust names alone
Rosters move every off-season. Team Falcons, the TI 2025 champions, shut down their Dota 2 team in September 2026. Their offlaner Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf joined Team Yandex on 17 September, and Yandex won PGL Wallachia Season 9 in his first event. Names move too: PARIVISION played TI 2026 as TEAM VISION. GGLBET’s rules say bets stand after a team name change, so the bet follows the roster you backed. Check the line-up on the day of the match.
Know the series length
Most Dota 2 tournaments now use best-of-three series, with best-of-five finals. Length changes the maths. A team with a 60% chance per map wins a best-of-three 64.8% of the time and a best-of-five 68.3% of the time. Over a single map, the same team loses four times in ten.
One account, one price
Inside one GGLBET account there is no second price to shop for. The odds on screen are the odds, so the only comparison you can make is with your own estimate.
A price is good value only when your own estimate of a team’s chance is higher than 1 divided by the odds. If you cannot say why your number differs from the bookmaker’s, skip the bet.
Short favourites show why. S$10 on CyberHero at 1.025 against PuckChamp makes S$0.25 profit. One upset costs S$10, which takes 40 winning bets of that size to earn back.
Size every stake the same
Pick a budget for the month and stake a flat 1% to 2% of it per bet. With S$300 set aside, that is S$3 to S$6 a bet. Do not raise stakes to chase a loss or to reach a promotion’s minimum bet. Live betting after the draft lets you see both line-ups. Prices move fast, though, and GGLBET can void a live bet placed after a team has gained a material advantage.
Esports betting Singapore: payments, promos and the law
Anyone looking into esports betting Singapore options should start with the legal position. GGLBET is an offshore operator and is not licensed by Singapore’s Gambling Regulatory Authority. The FAQ below sets out what that means under the Gambling Control Act 2022. Our esports betting Singapore guide covers CS2, League of Legends, Valorant and the other titles GGLBET lists.
Accounts run in SGD. You can deposit by PayNow, local bank transfer or USDT from S$20 and withdraw from S$50 with no fee. Two of the offers on the promotions page matter most for Dota 2 bettors.
Free Bet from E-Sports 2X a Day
The first is the esports free bet. Place four or more live bets in one day on Dota 2, CS2, League of Legends or Valorant. Each needs final odds of 1.80 or higher and a stake of at least S$25. Once four bets settle, you get a free bet worth 30% of your average stake, up to S$150, twice a day. The free bet expires after one day. Bet Builder bets, cashed-out bets and bets made with bonus funds or free bets do not qualify.
A worked example: four live Dota 2 bets of S$25, S$25, S$50 and S$100 average S$50, so the free bet is S$15. Reaching the S$150 cap needs an average stake of S$500. The terms also mention a free bet for “every qualified third bet”. That sits oddly with the four-bet rule, so check the Promotions page before you count on it. Our guide to free spins, free bets and wagering covers the general rules behind offers like this.
Weekly cashback and odds floors
The second is the 10% weekly cashback, listed under the E-sport tab. To qualify, you need three or more settled bets in the week at odds of 1.30 or higher, each at least S$5. You also need a net loss of at least S$25. The cashback arrives as a free bet every Monday at 09:00. It is capped at S$150 for Beginner and Elite players, rising to S$500 at the top VIP level.
Check prices against those odds floors. Of the ten match-winner prices on 12 October, seven were 1.30 or longer and five were 1.80 or longer. The free bet also needs live bets, and live prices move away from these pre-match numbers. Multiples of three or more selections at 1.30 or longer also earn the accumulator bonus, starting at 3% extra on three legs.
Facts in this guide were last checked on 12 October 2026. Odds are a snapshot from that day and will have moved since.
Play responsibly: set a budget before a tournament starts and stop when it is gone. Treat Dota 2 bets as paid entertainment, and remember that no staking plan beats the bookmaker’s margin.
