LoL Worlds 2026 starts on 15 October in Los Angeles and ends on 14 November at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. In Singapore, the final lands at 03:00 on Sunday 15 November. Nineteen teams from six leagues are playing for US$5,000,000, and T1 are chasing a fourth straight title. On 12 October 2026, GGLBET had Gen.G as outright favourites at 3.25.
In short: The Play-In runs 15 to 18 October (US time) with four teams fighting for one place. The Swiss stage follows in Allen, Texas, from 23 to 31 October, where 16 teams need three wins before three losses. The knockouts run from 3 to 14 November, all best of five. Most matches start between 01:00 and 07:00 SGT. On 12 October 2026, GGLBET priced the LCK at 1.36 to produce the champion.
Where does LoL Worlds 2026 stand on 12 October?
No Worlds match has been played yet. The Play-In draw took place in Rio de Janeiro on 10 October, straight after the CBLOL Split 2 final. LOS beat FURIA 3-2 in that final. The win sent LOS directly to the Swiss stage and FURIA to the Play-In.
The draw paired FURIA with MVK Esports and Cloud9 with Karmine Corp. FURIA v MVK goes first, at 14:00 EDT on 15 October. That is 02:00 SGT on Friday 16 October. Cloud9 v Karmine Corp follows at 07:00 SGT the same morning. GGLBET already had both series open on 12 October, with 53 markets on each.
The other 15 teams are waiting for the Swiss stage. Its Round 1 draw happens once the Play-In finishes on 18 October. Until then, the only Worlds markets with any depth are the two Play-In openers and the 17-market outright.
League of Legends World Championship 2026: dates, cities and venues
The League of Legends World Championship is spread across three US cities this year. The Play-In uses the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, a studio that seats about 300. The Swiss stage, quarter-finals and semi-finals move to the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, a Dallas suburb. That arena holds 8,100. The final goes to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which seats about 19,000.
Every game is on Patch 26.20.
What time do Worlds 2026 matches start in Singapore?
The table converts the official start times into Singapore time. A “+1” means the match starts the morning after the local US date.
| Stage | Local dates (2026) | First match, SGT | Venue | Series length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Play-In | 15 to 18 Oct | 02:00 (+1) | Riot Games Arena, Los Angeles | Bo5 |
| Swiss, days 1 to 4 | 23 to 26 Oct | 01:00 (+1) | Credit Union of Texas Event Center, Allen | Bo1 or Bo3 |
| Swiss, days 5 to 7 | 28 to 30 Oct | 04:00 (+1) | Credit Union of Texas Event Center, Allen | Bo1 or Bo3 |
| Swiss, day 8 | 31 Oct | 01:00 (+1) | Credit Union of Texas Event Center, Allen | Bo1 or Bo3 |
| Quarter-finals | 3 to 6 Nov | 06:00 (+1) | Credit Union of Texas Event Center, Allen | Bo5 |
| Semi-finals | 7 to 8 Nov | 06:00 (+1) | Credit Union of Texas Event Center, Allen | Bo5 |
| Final | 14 Nov | 03:00 on 15 Nov | Barclays Center, Brooklyn | Bo5 |
Two details matter if you plan to bet live. The Swiss stage has a rest day on 27 October. The US clocks go back on 1 November, which is why the knockout starts are listed in Central Standard Time. Riot’s Worlds 2026 primer has the full list, and a Worlds Fan Fest runs at Pier 36 in Manhattan from 12 to 14 November.
How does the LoL Worlds format work?
The format has three stages and each one changes how you should read the odds. A single game is far more random than a best-of-five. Knowing which format a match uses is half the job.
Play-In: four teams, one ticket
Four teams play a double-elimination bracket in Los Angeles. Every series is best of five with Fearless Draft. A team is out after two series defeats. The bracket ends with a qualifying match on 18 October, and only its winner flies to Texas.
The four teams are the third seeds from the LEC, LCS and LCP plus Brazil’s second seed. That is Karmine Corp, Cloud9, MVK Esports and FURIA. The draw had no pots or regional restrictions.
Swiss stage: three wins or three losses
In the LoL Worlds Swiss stage, three wins send a team through and three losses send it home. Only the matches that decide one or the other are best of three; every other match is a single game.
Sixteen teams play up to five rounds. Round 1 uses four seeding pools. Pool 1 teams face Pool 4 teams, Pool 2 faces Pool 3, and no team meets a team from its own region. From Round 2, teams play opponents on the same record, and nobody plays the same team twice.
The maths of a 16-team Swiss is fixed. Two teams finish 3-0, three finish 3-1 and three finish 3-2. That makes eight qualifiers. Rounds 1 and 2 are all best of one. In Round 3, the 2-0 and 0-2 matches go to best of three, while the 1-1 matches stay at one game.
Why does this matter for a bet? Take a team that wins any single map 60% of the time. It wins a Bo1 60% of the time, a Bo3 64.8% of the time and a Bo5 68.3% of the time. The working for the Bo3 is 0.6 × 0.6, plus two ways to win 2-1 (2 × 0.6 × 0.6 × 0.4), which totals 0.648. The longer the series, the more the stronger team’s edge shows through.
Knockouts: eight teams, all best of five
The eight survivors enter a single-elimination bracket. The quarter-final draw puts the two 3-0 teams on opposite sides and pairs them with two of the 3-2 teams. The other four teams are drawn against each other. Every knockout series is best of five with Fearless Draft.
Fearless Draft means a champion picked in one game of a series cannot be picked again by either team in that series. By game five of a Bo5, 40 champions are gone. Riot brought it in to push teams towards deeper champion pools, and it matters most when you price the late maps of a series.
Which teams qualified for LoL Worlds 2026?
The LCK and LPL send four teams each. The LEC, LCS and LCP send three, and the CBLOL sends two. Fifteen teams start in the Swiss stage; four start in the Play-In.
| League | Team | Route in | Starts in |
|---|---|---|---|
| LCK (Korea) | Gen.G | LCK 2026 champion | Swiss, Pool 1 |
| LCK (Korea) | Hanwha Life Esports | MSI 2026 champion | Swiss, Pool 2 |
| LCK (Korea) | T1 | LCK 3rd | Swiss, Pool 3 |
| LCK (Korea) | Dplus KIA | LCK 4th | Swiss, Pool 4 |
| LPL (China) | Anyone’s Legend | LPL Split 3 winner | Swiss, Pool 1 |
| LPL (China) | Bilibili Gaming | LPL points, 2nd | Swiss, Pool 2 |
| LPL (China) | Top Esports | LPL Regional Finals winner | Swiss, Pool 3 |
| LPL (China) | Invictus Gaming | LPL Regional Finals, 2nd | Swiss, Pool 4 |
| LEC (EMEA) | G2 Esports | LEC Summer winner | Swiss, Pool 1 |
| LEC (EMEA) | Movistar KOI | LEC Summer 2nd | Swiss, Pool 3 |
| LEC (EMEA) | Karmine Corp | LEC Summer 3rd | Play-In |
| LCS (North America) | Team Liquid | LCS Summer winner | Swiss, Pool 1 |
| LCS (North America) | LYON | LCS Summer 2nd | Swiss, Pool 3 |
| LCS (North America) | Cloud9 | LCS Summer 3rd | Play-In |
| LCP (Asia Pacific) | Team Secret Whales | LCP Split 3 winner | Swiss, Pool 2 |
| LCP (Asia Pacific) | CTBC Flying Oyster | LCP Split 3 2nd | Swiss, Pool 4 |
| LCP (Asia Pacific) | MVK Esports | LCP points, 3rd | Play-In |
| CBLOL (Brazil) | LOS | CBLOL Split 2 winner | Swiss, Pool 2 |
| CBLOL (Brazil) | FURIA | CBLOL Split 2 runner-up | Play-In |
Hanwha Life Esports arrive as MSI champions. They beat Bilibili Gaming 3-2 in the Daejeon final on 12 July, after trailing 1-2. Pool 4 has one empty seat, which goes to the Play-In winner. That team will open the Swiss stage against a Pool 1 side: Gen.G, Anyone’s Legend, Team Liquid or G2 Esports.
The Liquipedia event page keeps the rosters and the bracket current. Squads can still change before the Swiss stage, so check the line-ups on match day.
Who won the last three LoL Worlds?
T1 did, every time. In 2025 they became the first team to win the League of Legends World Championship three years in a row.
| Year | Champion | Runner-up | Final score | Final venue |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2023 | T1 | Weibo Gaming | 3-0 | Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul |
| 2024 | T1 | Bilibili Gaming | 3-2 | The O2 Arena, London |
| 2025 | T1 | KT Rolster | 3-2 | Dong’an Lake Sports Park, Chengdu |
The 2025 title was T1’s sixth, after wins in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2023 and 2024. They came back from 1-2 down against KT Rolster on 9 November 2025. An LCK team has now won four Worlds in a row, starting with DRX in 2022.
The 2026 T1 is a different roster. Gumayusi, their AD carry in all three title runs, now plays for Hanwha Life. T1 enter as the LCK’s third seed in Pool 3. GGLBET still had them at 4.50 on 12 October, joint second in the outright market.
LoL Worlds 2026 odds: what GGLBET’s 12 October prices say
GGLBET’s Worlds outright had 17 markets on 12 October 2026. Its winner market listed 19 teams, and these are the six shortest prices. Implied probability is 1 divided by the decimal odds.
| Team | Win Worlds (odds) | Implied | Reach the final (odds) | Implied |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gen.G | 3.25 | 30.8% | 2.00 | 50.0% |
| Hanwha Life Esports | 4.50 | 22.2% | 2.63 | 38.0% |
| T1 | 4.50 | 22.2% | 2.63 | 38.0% |
| Bilibili Gaming | 5.00 | 20.0% | 3.00 | 33.3% |
| Anyone’s Legend | 10.0 | 10.0% | 4.50 | 22.2% |
| Dplus KIA | 13.0 | 7.7% | 6.50 | 15.4% |
Add the six winner percentages and you get 112.9%. A fair book on 19 teams would total exactly 100%. The extra comes before the other 13 teams are counted, so the outright margin is wide. That is normal for a futures market, but it means small edges disappear fast.
The “Region of Winner” market carries a similar margin. On 12 October it showed LCK 1.36, LPL 4.00, LEC 15.0, LCS 34.0, and CBLOL and LCP at 101 each. Those six prices imply 110.1% in total.
The two markets can be compared directly. Say you want S$100 back if any Korean team wins. Backing all four LCK teams in the winner market costs S$82.90 (S$30.77 on Gen.G, S$22.22 each on HLE and T1, S$7.69 on Dplus KIA). That works out to odds of about 1.21. The single LCK bet at 1.36 returns the same S$100 for S$73.53. If your view is “Korea wins”, the region market pays more for it.
The regional “top team” markets are where the Play-In shows up. Karmine Corp were 11.0 to be the best LEC team, behind G2 Esports at 1.36 and Movistar KOI at 3.75. Cloud9 were 7.0 for top LCS team while LYON and Team Liquid sat at 2.10 each. MVK Esports were 19.0 for top LCP team. Each of those longer prices partly reflects the risk of going out in Los Angeles before the main event starts.
How to bet on League of Legends: the markets explained
Learning how to bet on League of Legends starts with a simple fact. A LoL series cannot end in a draw, because every map ends with a destroyed Nexus. That makes match markets two-way. Upcoming LoL matches on GGLBET carried between 53 and 124 markets each on 12 October 2026. Seven market types do most of the work, and each one is covered below. Our League of Legends betting guide keeps the current fixtures and prices.
Match winner
You pick the team that wins the series. On 12 October 2026, GGLBET had FURIA at 1.27 and MVK Esports at 3.30 for their Play-In opener. Those prices imply 78.7% and 30.3%, a total of 109.0%. Strip out the 9% margin and the book rates FURIA about 72% likely to win.
A S$50 bet on MVK at 3.30 returns S$165, which is S$115 profit. The same S$50 on FURIA returns S$63.50. Karmine Corp v Cloud9 was closer: 1.47 against 2.42.
Map handicap
A handicap shifts the series score. FURIA -1.5 maps wins only if FURIA win 3-0 or 3-1. MVK +1.5 maps wins if MVK take the series or lose it 2-3. A handicap only exists in a series; a best-of-one Swiss game has one map, so there is nothing to give away.
Go back to the team that wins 60% of maps. It wins a Bo5 68.3% of the time, but it covers -1.5 only 47.5% of the time (21.6% for 3-0 plus 25.9% for 3-1). The fair price on that handicap is about 2.10, against about 1.46 for the plain match win. GGLBET’s rules void handicap and total-map bets if the number of maps changes from what was offered.
Total maps
A Bo5 lasts three, four or five maps, so the lines are 3.5 and 4.5. With the same 60/40 split, a 3-0 either way happens 28.0% of the time. Four maps happen 37.4% of the time and five maps 34.6%. Over 3.5 therefore lands 72.0% of the time, a fair price of about 1.39. Over 4.5 is a 34.6% shot, roughly 2.89.
First blood
This settles on the first champion kill of a map. GGLBET’s sportsbook rules say “only kills by the opposition team / player will count”. It is a per-map bet, so check which map the market refers to before you place it.
First dragon and first Baron
These pay on which team takes the first dragon or the first Baron Nashor of a map. GGLBET settles monster markets on the official scoreboard, broadcast or game API. First dragon is decided early in the map. First Baron comes much later, after the game has taken shape.
Total kills
This is an over/under on combined champion kills in a map. GGLBET settles it on the official scoreboard. Fearless Draft can move these numbers in late games of a series, because teams run out of their comfort picks. Building markets have their own surrender rule. GGLBET adds the towers and inhibitors the winner still needed, up to five towers and one inhibitor.
Outright winner and specials
Outrights settle at the end of the event, so your stake is tied up until 14 November. Beyond the winner, GGLBET listed “To Reach The Final”, region and top-team markets, and a Finals MVP market with 95 names. Chovy (Gen.G) led that list at 7.0, ahead of Peyz (T1) at 8.0 and Ruler (Gen.G) and knight (BLG) at 9.0 each.
How do you place a LoL Worlds bet on GGLBET?
The process takes a few minutes in a phone browser. GGLBET has no app.
- Create an account on the GGLBET registration page and set SGD as the currency.
- Decide on a welcome offer first. If you want the sports bonus, go to Profile, then Promotional Bonuses, and claim the “100% Sportsbook Welcome Bonus” before you deposit. No promo code is needed.
- Deposit at least S$20 by PayNow, local bank transfer (DBS/POSB, OCBC, UOB and others) or USDT. The welcome bonus needs a S$50 deposit. Cards are not offered for SGD.
- Open Esports, then League of Legends. Worlds sits under “World Championship. Outright” and “World Championship Play-In”.
- Tap a price to add it to the bet slip, enter your stake and check the potential return before you confirm.
- Withdraw from S$50. There is no fee, and payouts usually land within 5 to 120 minutes.
The 250% sports welcome offer pays 100% up to S$1,000 on the first deposit and 150% up to S$1,500 on the second. Each part carries 12x turnover within 7 days, at minimum selection odds of 1.50. A bet on FURIA at 1.27 would not help you clear it. Full terms are on the promotions page.
Esports betting Singapore: GGLBET offers that suit LoL Worlds
Our esports betting Singapore hub covers every title GGLBET lists, from CS2 to Valorant. For LoL Worlds, two standing offers are relevant. Neither is Worlds-specific, and both have rules that matter at 04:00.
Free Bet from E-Sports 2X a Day
Place at least four live bets in one day on LoL, Dota 2, CS2 or Valorant. Each bet needs a minimum stake of S$25 and final odds of at least 1.80. Once four bets settle, you get a free bet worth 30% of your average stake, capped at S$150. You can claim it twice a day, and it expires after one day.
A worked example: four live LoL bets of S$25, S$40, S$60 and S$75 total S$200. The average is S$50, so the free bet is S$15. All four bets must settle within the same Singapore day, which starts at 00:00 GMT+8. A Play-In day with matches at 02:00 and 07:00 SGT fits inside one day. Bet Builder bets, bonus bets and anything you cash out do not count.
Watch the 1.80 floor. On the 12 October pre-match prices, MVK (3.30) and Cloud9 (2.42) cleared it, while FURIA (1.27) and Karmine Corp (1.47) did not. Live prices move during each map, so check the slip before you confirm.
Weekly sports cashback and the accumulator bonus
The weekly cashback returns 10% of a net loss as a free bet every Monday at 09:00 SGT. You need three settled bets in the week at odds of 1.30 or higher, S$5 minimum each, and a net loss of at least S$25. A S$300 net loss in one week would return S$30. The cap starts at S$150 for the Beginner level and rises to S$500 at the top VIP level.
The accumulator bonus adds 3% for three selections and 5% for four, rising to 100% at 20 or more. Every leg must be priced at 1.30 or higher to count. A favourite at 1.27 drops out of the count, so a four-fold with one such leg only earns the three-leg rate.
Mistakes that cost LoL Worlds bettors money
The LoL Worlds format sets a few traps for bettors. Knowing how to bet on League of Legends also means knowing when to leave a market alone.
The first is treating a Swiss Bo1 like a Bo5. One game gives an underdog its best chance of the whole event. A favourite at a short price in a single game carries more risk than the same price in a series.
The second is forgetting the Play-In path. Karmine Corp at 11.0 to top the LEC needs to win the Play-In first, then outlast G2 and Movistar KOI. Long prices on Play-In teams are long for a reason.
The third is betting tired. Swiss days begin at 01:00 or 04:00 SGT, and knockout series at 06:00. Set a stake limit before the match, not during it. No staking plan or system changes the bookmaker’s margin, which sat around 9% on the Play-In match prices.
The last is relying on old prices. Every figure in this guide is a snapshot from 12 October 2026. Odds will move after the Play-In and again after each Swiss round. If you also follow other titles, our guides to Dota 2 betting and CS2 betting use the same approach.
Facts in this guide were last checked on 12 October 2026.
Play responsibly
Bet only what you can afford to lose, and treat a 04:00 match as entertainment, not income. If betting stops being fun, take a break or ask for help early.
